Permission Fees for Publication and Media Use of Images from the Avery Collection

All fees are for one-time, non-exclusive use. Columbia may give permission only as the physical owner of a collection or object. Such permission does not necessarily include literary rights, which may have to be sought elsewhere. Permissions do not cover forms of media not specified in the original request (or specified in the letter granting permission) and are given for the maximum of a five-year period. Written permission for use of Avery's images must be sought from the Director of the Avery Library.

For details see Columbia University Libraries Publication and Digital Reproduction Policy and Procedures.
