Recognizing the increasing importance of moving image and sound files for humanities research, the DHC has begun to support work with digital video and hopes to offer expanded support for audio and the capture of video clips in the near future. Six of the Macintosh stations are equipped for digital video editing, with a relevant suite of tools, including FinalCut Pro, iMovie, Final Draft, Sound Track Pro, DVDStudio Pro, Avid Media Composer, and Podcast Capture.
