  • Print Manuals
    Release 10, published in 2007, was the last set of printed manuals Stata manuals.  A copy is available in the Data service within the DSSC.
    Lehman Reserves has additional copies of release 10 and/or release 9 (loan period is 2 hours). 
    Manuals for older releases are in Lehman stacks (loan period is your normal one).
    To find copies in CLIO; do a Guided Keyword search. Look for "Stata" in title and "Stata" in author.
  • Help Menu
    On CUIT workstations the most recent manuals can be accessed via the Stata Help Menu's search feature. To check the syntax of a command, do a "Command" search.
• Tutorials
  There are no built-in tutorials with Stata.  Refer to Princeton's Online Stata Training.

SPSS

• Documentation
  SPSS Inc. no longer publishes print documentation.
  The last issue was released in 1999 and is available in Data service within the DSSC.
  
• Tutorials
  Use the Help Menu within SPSS on any CUIT/DSSC workstation.
  Select either Tutorial or Statistics Coach.
