C.V. Starr East Asian Library has subscribed to or has purchased the following electronic resources including full-text databases and CD-ROMs which are available only to faculty, staff and students of Columbia University. To access e-resources via the web, users need an CUIT computer account (user name and password). Some databases may require a Korean version of Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to display text properly. CD-ROMs are installed and are only available on a Korean disignated PC in the library, so please consult with the Korean Studies Librarian to access them.

• Choson Ilbo Archive (조선일보 아카이브)
  A full-text database of the Choson Daily Newspaper Archives from its beginning issue in 1920 to the present. The database is searchable by keyword, journalist, date and so on.
• DBPia (누리미디어 학회지 DB)
  A full-text database including over 1,500 Korean scholarly journals. The journal titles are arranged by 9 subject categories and all journals are available from the first issue. There are various search methods available.
• EncyKorea (한국 민족문화 대백과사전)
  An online version of the Korean Cultural Heritage Encyclopedia (=Han'guk minjok munhwa tae paekkwa sajon). This encyclopedia covers many subjects including cultural heritages such as art, language, society, nature, history and so on. It not only contains text, but also images, and maps.
• History Culture Series (역사문화시리즈)
  A multimedia contents database dedicated to Korean history and culture. The database covers subjects such as archeology, Korean history, and art history.
  
• Ilcheha Chonsi Ch'ejegi Chongch'aek Saryo Ch'ongso (일제하 전시 체제기 정책 사료 총서 = 日帝下 戰時 體制期 政策 史料 叢書)
  An online version of the reprinted book, "Ilcheha chonsi ch'ejegi chongch'aek saryo ch'ongso", compiled by Minjok Munje Yon'guso. This is a collection of reports on Japanese colonial rules and policies in Korea during the Japanese occupation period. All the texts are provided in a PDF format and are not searchable.
• Kdatabase (한국현대사 통합DB)
  A full-text database on humanities and social sciences. It features contemporary Korean historians' and scholars' works and documents, from 1945 to the present. The database also includes 23 full text archives on Korean history. It offers various search methods.
• KISS (한국학술정보 학회지DB)
  A full-text database of Korean scholarly journal articles, university publications, and research papers published by over 1,200 research institutions in Korea. The database covers all subject areas published since 1945 and offers various search methods.
• Korea AtoZ (한국학 원문DBs)
  A collection of full-text databases on a variety of subjects related to Korean Studies. The databases are arranged into 11 categories and include many classical works, dictionaries, old journals and so on.
• Korean History & Culture Research DB (한국 역사 문화 조사 자료 데이터베이스)
  A full-text database of excavation reports in providing full-text articles in History, archeology, anthropology, literature and folklore in 3,000 volumes from many organizations.
• Korean Movie Database (한국 영화 데이터베이스)
  A comprehensive database in providing information related to Korean movies, animation, actors, television, etc. from the 1910s to the present. It can be searched by title, keyword, name, and year of production.
• Korean Statistical Information System (KOSIS) (국가 통계 포털)
  A Korea's extensive national statistical database which presents national and international statistics arranged by subject or source. It is searchable by keyword, or subject.
  
• KPJournal (북한학술지 통합데이타베이스)
  A full text database including 18 North Korean scholarly journals mostly in science and engineering. It can be searched by keyword, and journal title.
• KRPia (누리미디어 한국학 원문DBs)
  A collection of full-text databases related to Korean Studies offering a variety of subjects such as Korean history, literature, art, oriental medicine and the classics. They are arranged in 11 categories and each database provides access to full text as well as image files.
• KSI E-book (한국학술정보 전자도서)
  Full-text electronic books in the fields of humanities and social sciences.
• Kyobo Scholar (교보문고 스콜라)
  A full text database including 510 Korean scholarly journals in Humanities, social sciences, science and so on. It can be searched by keyword, journal title, and subject.
  
• Kyongsong Ilbo (경성일보 = 京城日報)
  Image reproductions of the Kyongsong Daily Newspaper from its issue, 1907 to 1935. The articles are provided in a PDF format and are not searchable.
• LawnB's Legal Information Service (로앤비)
  A legal information portal service that provides a collection of South Korean legal materials online including law information, judicial precedent, lawyer and law firm information.
• Riss International (학술연구정보서비스)
  A comprehensive search engine that allow users to access the full text of journal articles, theses & dissertations, over 550 library catalogs and so on.  It also provides a 'RISS International ILL'          
  
• Zininzin Ilche Sidae Munhwa Yujok Chosa Charyo (진인진 일제시대 문화유적 조사자료)
  A full-text database of excavation reports published by Choson Ch'ongdokpu during the Japanese colonial period.
