Columbia University Libraries/Information Services Announces Professional Staff Appointments
NEW YORK, March 4, 2014 –

Columbia University Libraries/Information Services announces the following recent professional staff appointments:


Thai Jones is the Lehman Curator for American History at the Rare Book and Manuscript Library.  He was previously an Assistant Professor of History at Bard College.

Meredith Levin is the Research Collection and Services Librarian for Philosophy and Western European History and Literature at the Humanities and History Libraries.  She was previously the Librarian for Italian Studies and Acting Librarian for Journalism and Media, Culture, and Communication at New York University. 

Simone Sacchi is the new Research and Scholarship Initiatives Manager at the Center for Digital Research and Scholarship.  He is a 2014 Ph.D candidate in Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. 

Mark Wilson is the Director of Monographs Processing Services.  He was previously a Precataloging Unit Librarian and Eurasian Cataloger for the Columbia University Libraries.

Wei Zheng is the Chinese Cataloger at the C.V. Starr East Asian Library.  She was previously a Senior Librarian in the Cataloging Department at the New York Public Library.
