The Columbia University Libraries announce the availability of electronic renewal and other select Request It services to alumni who have purchased borrowing privileges and other registered borrowers.

Alumni, visiting scholars, and seminar associates who have purchased borrowing privileges, and all other registered library borrowers may view their circulation record, request electronic renewal of items checked out, and request items from offsite, or items that are on order or in process. Please click My Library Account.

Due to licensing agreements certain electronic resources will remain unavailable via remote access to alumni, visiting scholars, seminar associates and other registered visitors. Recent Columbia alumni will retain some library privileges,including access to licensed electronic databases for a period of three months beyond the last semester that they were registered.
The Butler Reference Department has provided a list of alternative resources to these licensed databases. You may see this list of resources online.
