CLIO lists a book as "unavailable." How can I get a copy of it?

Question:

CLIO lists a book as "unavailable." How can I get a copy of it?

Answer:

If a book is unavailable, seek the assistance of a reference librarian, who will be able to help you locate another copy. You may also borrow a copy of the item from another library via Borrow Direct or Interlibrary Loan services, or request that another copy be purchased.  These services are all available through the Request It services page.

For instructions on how to request books through Borrow Direct, see CLIO: Requesting Books Through Borrow Direct (02:10).
