CLIO lists a book as "unavailable." How can I get a copy of it?

Question:

CLIO lists a book as "unavailable." How can I get a copy of it?

Answer:

If a book is unavailable, you may be able to borrow a copy of the item from another library via Borrow Direct or Interlibrary Loan services, or request that another copy be purchased.  These services are all available through the Request It services page.

For instructions on how to request books through Borrow Direct, see CLIO: Requesting Books Through Borrow Direct (02:10).

You may also seek the assistance of a reference librarian, who will be able to help you locate another copy.
