Miss Miwa Kai (1913-2011)
Miss Miwa Kai, former Head of the Japanese Collection at Columbia University Libraries, passed away from natural causes in her residence in the early afternoon of December 10, 2011. She was 98 years old. A memorial service will be held at Starr Library on Friday, April 20, 2012 from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
