New York Area Resources on Tibet
- Latse Contemporary Tibetan Cultural Library
A cultural center open to all audiences with an interest in Tibetan culture. - Newark Museum – Asian Art Collection
Contains one of the finest collections of Tibetan art in the western hemisphere. - Tibet House
Center for many Tibetan cultural activities in downtown Manhattan. - New York Public Library – Asian and Middle Eastern Division
The mid-town Manhattan research branch has an excellent collection of works on Tibet in English, Chinese, Tibetan, and European languages. - Asia Society
Features a wide variety of exhibits and programs on Asia, including Tibet. - Buddhism in New York
