The Geoscience Library collection represents a core collection of the most frequently used and cited earth science journals. The subject scope is broad, including marine biology, physical geography, climatology and climate change, dendrochronology, and rock mechanics, as well as more traditional areas such as geochemistry, geophysics, seismology, and paleomagnetics.
Material is shuttled between the Geoscience and Geology Libraries daily to avoid duplication.
Lamont-Doherty Open Access Resolution
As of March 1, 2012, the Lamont-Doherty open access resolution requires all Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory researchers to deposit their scholarly publications into an open access repository. Any article submitted after that date that is subsequently published must be deposited in either the final version or the final post-review version.
