The final reports of the 2000 Census were published in five printed report series: Summary Population and Housing Characteristics; Summary Social, Economic and Housing Characteristics; Population and Housing Unit Counts; Island Areas; and Characteristics of the American Indians and Alaska Natives. In each series, there is one report for each state, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico, plus a United States summary report. Many tables in the United States summary reports include data for Puerto Rico.
In addition, there are census briefs, special reports, and mapping products, but these products are not distributed in print. They are available online only.
Each report series is linked to PDF versions of the publications, if available.
Volumes which contain tables specifically about New York City and State are highlighted.
