About the Mathematics Library

The Mathematics Library holdings exceed 37,400 volumes covering algebra, number theory, geometry, topology, statistics, and probability. The library currently subscribes to 250 international mathematics serials in print or in electronic format. This collection also supports the Master of Arts program in the Mathematics of Finance. Instructional reserve materials for undergraduate mathematics and statistics courses are housed here, as well.

The Science Collection’s volumes, formerly housed here, have been relocated to our offsite facility. The remaining books include 800 astronomy titles selected by the faculty, and approximately 1500 volumes of general and multidisciplinary materials in such areas as the history of science and technology.
