The panel will be moderated by author and publisher James Atlas. Four experts on publishing and the literary object will join him in the discussion, Nicholson Baker, author of The Mezzanine and Vox, and winner of the National Book Critics Circle Award for his nonfiction book Double Fold: Libraries and the Assault on Paper; Jonathan Galassi, president and publisher at Farrar, Straus, and Giroux; Virginia Heffernan, journalist at The New York Times; and Lorin Stein, editor of The Paris Review, a pre-eminent American literary magazine.
