Factiva is a database of full-text business information, general news, and current event coverage. The unrivaled collection of more than 25,000 authoritative sources includes the exclusive combination of The Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times™, Dow Jones and Reuters newswires and the Associated Press, as well as Reuters Fundamentals, and D&B company profiles.
JSTOR is available to Friends and alumni as a trial subscription. The archive provides full text and page images of over 1,000 back issues of the core scholarly journals in the humanities and social sciences from the earliest issues to within a few years of current publication. Users may browse by journal title or discipline, or may search the full-text or citations/abstracts. New issues of existing titles and new titles are added on an ongoing basis.
Factiva and JSTOR join a host of e-resources already available to alumni and Friends, including the Avery Index to Architectural Periodicals, EBSCO Business Source Premier: Alumni Edition; ABI/INFORM®, ProQuest Research Library™ and ProQuest Newspaper databases; CIAO (Columbia International Affairs Online): Columbia Earthscape: an Online Resource on the Global Environment: and Gutenberg-e (digital monographs in the field of history).
