Columbia University Libraries Announces New Professional Appointments
NEW YORK, March 12, 2010 –

Columbia University Libraries/Information Services announces the following recent professional staff appointments:


Tessa Fallon is the Web Collection Curator as part of the Mellon-funded project on web archiving. She worked previously as Archives and Knowledge Management Consultant at the International Center for Transitional Justice.

Leah Loscutoff is Project Archivist for the Woodlawn Cemetery Archives at the Avery Library. She worked as project archivist at the University of California-Irvine.

Danianne Mizzy is the Engineering Librarian. She previously served as library director at the Academy of Natural Sciences, and as assistant head of the Engineering Library at the University of Pennsylvania.

Anurag Mohanty is Associate Systems Engineer in the Library Information Technology Office, previously working as systems administrator and programmer at the Columbia Medical Center.

Columbia University Libraries/Information Services is one of the top five academic research library systems in North America. The collections include over 10 million volumes, over 100,000 journals and serials, as well as extensive electronic resources, manuscripts, rare books, microforms, maps, graphic and audio-visual materials.
