All three papers were based on materials now available through the Digital Scriptorium, an image database of medieval and renaissance manuscripts that unites scattered resources from many institutions into an international tool for teaching and scholarly research. Dutschke was recognized in her role as co-founder and executive director of the Digital Scriptorium.
Consuelo Dutschke is curator of Medieval and Renaissance Manuscripts at Columbia University, a position she has held since 1993. She is the author of the two-volume Guide to Medieval and Renaissance Manuscripts at the Huntington Library (1989) and co-founder, with Charles Faulhaber, director of The Bancroft Library and professor of medieval Spanish literature at the University of California, Berkeley, of the Digital Scriptorium.
