The Columbia University Libraries/Information Services announces the following recent professional staff appointments:
Seangill Bae is the Head of Delivery Services in Access Services. He was previously Document Delivery Specialist and Collection Manager for History at the University of Albany.
Michala Biondi is the Project Archivist at the Burke Library, previously working as an archivist at the Jewish Theological Seminary.
Jennifer Comins is the Project Archivist for the Albert Ellis Papers in the Rare Book and Manuscript Library. She previously was an archivist for the Edwin Armstrong Papers at Columbia.
Anthony Elia is the new Public Services Librarian at The Burke Theological Library, previously serving as the Associate Librarian for Reference and Instruction at McCormick Theological Seminary and Lutheran School in Chicago.
Cynthia Goldstein is the new Grants Officer. She previously served as a Labor Relations Manager at Columbia.
Shelley Hayreh is the new Archivist for Drawings and Archives at the Avery Library. She is an April 2010 MLIS graduate of Michigan and was an Archives Assistant at the Bentley Historical Library.
Nick Patterson is the new Music Librarian. He is a 2008 MLIS graduate of Pratt and previously was the Access Supervisor in the Music Library.
Paul VanDeCarr is the Education and Outreach Officer in the Oral History Research Office. He was previously a freelance writer and strategist.
