Correspondence, memoranda, minutes of meetings, documents, and other papers relating to the career of Hugh R. Jackson (1912-1966) assistant director of the U.S. Office of Foreign Relief and Rehabilitation Operations, 1942-1943, and deputy director-general of the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration, 1942-1945.

Hugh Jackson was one of Herbert H. Lehman's chief assistants in both OFRRO and during the early years of UNRRA, and was Deputy Director General of the latter at his retirement.
