La Boheme exhibit at the Music & Arts Library

COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY LIBRARIES, Monday, Oct. 29, 2001 The Music & Arts Library, in conjunction with the Department of Music and the New York City Opera, is exhibiting materials related to La Boheme by Giacomo Puccini. Works on display include books, scores, and sound recordings from several Columbia libraries, and blueprints, floor designs, color photographs and a color elevation from the New York City Opera's current World-War-I production. The exhibition accompanies a Music Humanities project in which NYCO singers visit classrooms and students attend a performance at Lincoln Center.

The Music & Arts Library is located on the 7th floor of Dodge. Library hours are 9-9 M-Th; 9-5 F; noon-5 Sa; 3-8 Su. The exhibition runs from October 29 through November 21, 2001.
