Description
Through the ARTstor digital image library Columbia students, faculty and staff now have access to approximately 700,000 high quality digital images.
These images cover a wide variety of disciplines, including African American Studies, American Studies, Anthropology, Architecture, Art History, Asian Studies, Classical Studies, Design & Decorative Studies, History, Language & Literature, Literary Studies, Medieval Studies, Middle Eastern Studies, Music, Native American Studies, Photography, Religious Studies, Renaissance Studies, Theater & Dance and Women's Studies.
ARTstor staff will demonstrate search functionality, as well as the tools to view, present, and manage images. They will also discuss new developments such as the Images for Academic Publishing (IAP) initiative, which allows scholars to download and use, free of charge, high-resolution digital images for scholarly publications.
