Todd Carter is CEO and Co-Founder of Tagasauris. He heads up the Tagasauris team bringing his extensive experience as an accomplished entrepreneur, team leader, speaker and digital media pioneer. He has held executive positions in both early-stage and public business-to-business and consumer-facing technology, Internet, and media businesses. Formerly, Todd was a Co-Founder/President of OWL Multimedia, Inc. a music search technology company and a Co-Founder / CTO of Busy Box (BUSY), a publicly traded technology company. He co-authored the AXS File Concatenation Protocol, an early standard for image metadata representation that found broad adoption in the printing and publishing industries including by real-time multimedia news services Reuters, Agence France Presse, and PressLink. Todd was also a member of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC29/WG11, more commonly known as the Moving Pictures Experts Group, a working group that develops international standards for audio-visual information representation.
