Notes
CUL and ReCAP track statistics separately. The primary data sets are similar but include important differences. Please contact the ReCAP Coordinator for assistance with data analysis.
Department-level and parameter-specific analysis can only be done with the CUL data set.
Gross activity and cost-sharing calculations must be done with the ReCAP data set.
Data
Definition of terms
Accession : Collections that have been transfered to the ReCAP facility
Request : Collections requested by CUL patrons or staff for delivery to campus (unique to CUL data set)
Retrieval : Items removed from the shelf by ReCAP staff (unique to ReCAP data set)
Delivery : Items physically delivered to campus locations
EDD : Requests for electronic article or book chapter scans
Request Rate : Percentage of collections requested per year
