The South Asian Studies Librarian selects materials for acquisition and provides research support services including specialized reference, research consultations and assistance to faculty and students.  Suggestions for acquisitions from students, faculty and scholars in the field are always welcome.

Our 2CUL (Columbia University Library + Cornell University Library) partnership with Cornell includes cooperation in developing Southeast Asian studies collections.  The Librarians at Cornell are available to assist Columbia students, faculty, and staff with research questions related to this region.  Columbia affiliates are able to borrow many circulating materials from Cornell's outstanding collections via Interlibrary Loan and Borrow Direct.
