Avery Architectural & Fine Arts Library
Avery Library's Research Collections contain books and periodicals on architecture, historic preservation, art history, painting, sculpting, graphic arts, decorative arts, city planning, real estate, and archaeology, from all areas of the world and covering all time periods. The Avery Collection (architecture and related topics) and Fine Arts Collection (painting, sculpture, drawing, etc.) are both in-library use only, but the majority of the Avery-LC Collection (all topics in Avery Library’s scope acquired 2011 or after) circulates.

Avery Access: Avery is open to current Columbia University students, faculty, and staff, and alumni and retirees of the university with valid CUID. For more information, including how to obtain an alumni or retiree ID, please visit the Columbia University Libraries Visitors Page. All others interested in visiting Avery Library and its collections should email firstname.lastname@example.org. No food is allowed in Avery Library; drinks are allowed in spill-proof containers.
