Avery Architectural & Fine Arts Library


Columbia University Libraries’ integrated library system, Voyager, will be undergoing maintenance the week of August 8th-12th. Real-time updates, library account information, and some request functions will be temporarily unavailable.  Full service should be restored no later than Friday, August 12th. Avery Access: Avery is open to current Columbia University students, faculty, and staff. Patrons must comply with the Columbia Community Health Compact for entry. Visitor and alumni access remains suspended until further notice. 

Using the Collections: Avery Library’s stacks and spaces are open to eligible Columbia affiliates. Patrons may browse the stacks and use items from the research collections in the library.  Additionally, the Avery-LC collection is largely circulating and items may be checked out of  the library.  No food is allowed in Avery Library; drinks are allowed in spill-proof containers.

Special Collections: Avery Classics, Art Properties, & Drawings & Archives are open by appointment to eligible Columbia affiliates. Please contact the relevant department with your research questions or to make an appointment.
