The Burke Library at Union Theological Seminary

News & Events

The Burke is following Columbia's COVID-19 guidance web page and we encourage library visitors to do the same. Hours may change and events will be held online until further notice. Research support is still available remotely through a variety of online resources. See the Library Guides below for guidance on using electronic materials remotely. Please check open hours in the box to the right when planning visits.

Union Theological Seminary began its campus renewal and construction projects in summer 2019. No construction activity will take place in the Burke Library. However, entrance and exit points may be temporarily impacted, in which case signs will be posted to direct library visitors. Please see Union's campus renewal page for additional information and updates.
