Lieutenant Colonel Yvonne R. Bradley was the U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General defense counsel for Guantánamo Bay detainee Binyam Mohamed during his military commissions trials. Col. Bradley practices law in Pennsylvania, focusing on criminal defense, capital punishment, and family law cases. Highlights of this interview include accounts of Col. Bradley’s legal career before Guantánamo, prosecution of offenses under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, detention conditions at Guantánamo Bay, the torture of Binyam Mohamed in Pakistan and Morocco, and military commissions of Binyam Mohamed and other prisoners in the War on Terror.
