Located in the Columbia School of Social Work, the Social Work Library contains more than 75,000 volumes, comprising one of the world's premiere social work and social services collections. It provides comprehensive coverage of the various areas of social work including child welfare, gerontology, health and health care, international social welfare, marriage and the family, and social policy.

Aurality and Devotion in the Premodern World Project
The Burke Library recently hosted “Aurality and Devotion in the Pre-Modern World,” a multi-disciplinary project on Jewish, Christian, and Islamic devotional song that brought together leading scholars from the U.S. and Europe to share and discuss their research.

New Archigram Facsimile to Be Published
Staff of Avery Classics worked closely with Distributed Art Publishers, Inc. (D.A.P.) and Designers & Books to create a meticulous facsimile of Archigram magazine, copies of which are held by Avery Library and were used to ensure the accuracy of the facsimile.

Reminder: Undergraduate Library Research Award Submission Deadline
As a reminder, submissions for the inaugural Undergraduate Library Research Award, which recognizes Columbia undergraduates in the sciences, engineering, and social sciences for excellence in their use of library resources, are due on April 21, 2025.
