Union Theological Seminary began its campus renewal and construction projects in summer 2019. No construction activity will take place in the Burke Library. However, entrance and exit points may be temporarily impacted, in which case signs will be posted to direct library visitors. Since its inception in 1836, Union Theological Seminary has treasured the library and its role in research and learning for students, faculty, and the community.

Union is a nondenominational seminary conferring graduate degrees with interdisciplinary concentrations in Bible, Church History, Ethics, Interreligious Engagement, Psychology & Religion, Systematic Theology, and others.
