This workshop will provide an overview of what archives are, how to find archives, how to use finding aids and other collection guides, and how to prepare for and make the most of your research visit to an archive. We will also provide a brief overview of archival collections across the different libraries at Columbia University. Anyone interested in learning more about archival research is welcome to attend. The session will be led by archivists from Columbia University Libraries.
