Gulf War
In the summer of 1990, President George H. W. Bush began building up the American forces in the Persian Gulf and, in January 1991, a coalition force entered Kuwait to end the Iraqi occupation of that country. Some Columbia reservists were called to active duty during the operations, including medical and dental personnel.
