Harold Frederick Cowperthwaite

Second Lieutenant Harold Frederick Cowperthwaite, U.S. Army, was killed in France after completing officer training school in France. He was one of eighteen men from his hometown of Westfield, New Jersey, to have died in World War I. A street, Cowperthwaite Place, was named in his memory. He is buried in Romange, France.
