First Lieutenant Lewis Zion, U.S. Army Medical Corps, died of influenza on October 31, 1918, at Fort Slocum, New York.
Tributes
Mr Zion is buried in Bayside Cemetery in Ozone Park (Queens ) NY. His grave, as well as most of the cemetery, is in very poor condition. The freedom we enjoy is because of people like him.
